Ulf Hyltmark is a maker with over a decade of professional experience in the creation of digital products. As a coder at heart with an extensive experience in UI, UX and concept, he has in later years focused his attention on creating immersive and engaging experiences. With a complementary degree in film making, and a professional background as a visual & music artist, he has a full understanding of the audio / visual experience and how to bring it to life. Further more, he is a natural curious tinkerer who is always looking to explore ways to bridge the physical world with the digital. He has worked on numerous campaigns in the media industry, and he is a co -founder of Infochannel , a digital signage company from Sweden.

VR UX Workshop: A Rough Guide to Alternate Realities

With Virtual and Augmented Reality continuing to capture peoples’ imagination how can you ensure your users have a comfortable visit to your virtual world?
The Emerging Experiences team of SapientRazorfish will present a workshop that talks through the different approaches to user experience and interface design and how they apply to the various forms of VR, from phone based 360 video, to fully featured desktop VR and on to the emerging field of Augmented Reality and beyond.
The interactive workshop will analyse various examples of virtual reality and highlight how they enforce the fundamental pillars of VR: view and ergonomics, input and interaction, user journey and guidance, content and locomotion as well as introducing the basics of sketching out and planning a VR experience.
